As Mayor of the South Burnett Regional Council, I strongly believe that the South Burnett, as a region, has all that is necessary to ensure continued growth, both socially and economically. My vision and direction are to maintain individual community identities whilst developing a culture of unity to drive the South Burnett region into the future.

THE REAL WONDAI - in reply to an article in the Tweed Shire Echo.
As Mayor of the South Burnett Regional Council I have responded to a recent article that was published in the Tweed Shire Echo Newspaper and on their website. There has also been quite a lot of discussion about the article on facebook. A number of concerned Wondai residents have approached me about the negative content of this article and how it reflected badly on the town. Election Update
I do intend standing again for the position of Mayor in the upcoming elections to be held on the 28th April 2012. I believe I have the proven skills, dedication, enthusiasm and extensive business and local government knowledge to take advantage of the financial stability and solid groundwork achieved over the past four years and lead the South Burnett towards a bright and prosperous future. When elected again, I commit to ensuring that the region reaches its full potential.
